How much notice do I need to give to book a service?
We ask for 24 hours notice for the initial appointment but if you require it earlier, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do your staff work with pets in the home?
Star Residential Care is a pet-friendly service provider. The only thing we ask if that your pets are friendly to us and let our professionals get on with the job. We ask that you let us know if a pet will be in the home.
Can I alter the day of my regular appointments once they are locked in?
Of course. We ask for as much notice as possible though for any changes and preferably 48 hours. This give us the best possible chance of success of providing you with the same team member.
Will the same person attend my home each time?
We prefer to send the same person to perform your services each time. If you are not happy or would like to change team members, please let us know and we will arrange a different person to attend your home.
Can I add additional services such as an oven clean on an ad-hoc basis or extra personal care?
Yes. We will work with you & your service provider to accommodate this in a way that best meets your needs.
Can domestic cleaners help with things like cleaning windows?
Our staff members are provided with a small step ladder but they are not trained to operate the specialised equipment which may be required for cleaning exterior windows. We can book a separate window cleaning service if this is required.
Do your staff work on a Sunday?
We operate seven days a week.
Do you provide all cleaning equipment & supplies?
For once-only services, such as a moving house or spring cleaning service, we provide all the required cleaning equipment and materials.
For a regular service, such as a standard clean, our customers typically provide larger cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner and mop & bucket, and we provide all the cleaning supplies, such as multi-purpose cleaner, window cleaner, toilet cleaner, cleaning cloths, etc.
Can I trust your service technicians in my home?
Yes, we do complete background checks on all of our service technicians and they are fully trained to perform the scheduled tasks at your property.
Does Star Residential Care carry the proper insurance in case of an accident in my home?
Yes. We hold all required current insurance policies.
I only need extra help for a few weeks ?
We can provide “one-off” short and long term care and support.
