We ask for 24 hours notice for the initial appointment but if you require it earlier, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Star Residential Care is a pet-friendly service provider. The only thing we ask if that your pets are friendly to us and let our professionals get on with the job. We ask that you let us know if a pet will be in the home.
Of course. We ask for as much notice as possible though for any changes and preferably 48 hours. This give us the best possible chance of success of providing you with the same team member.
We prefer to send the same person to perform your services each time. If you are not happy or would like to change team members, please let us know and we will arrange a different person to attend your home.
Yes. We will work with you & your service provider to accommodate this in a way that best meets your needs.
Our staff members are provided with a small step ladder but they are not trained to operate the specialised equipment which may be required for cleaning exterior windows. We can book a separate window cleaning service if this is required.
We operate seven days a week.
For once-only services, such as a moving house or spring cleaning service, we provide all the required cleaning equipment and materials.
For a regular service, such as a standard clean, our customers typically provide larger cleaning equipment such as a vacuum cleaner and mop & bucket, and we provide all the cleaning supplies, such as multi-purpose cleaner, window cleaner, toilet cleaner, cleaning cloths, etc.
Yes, we do complete background checks on all of our service technicians and they are fully trained to perform the scheduled tasks at your property.
Yes. We hold all required current insurance policies.
We can provide “one-off” short and long term care and support.
We will work with you & your provider (if relevant)to best meet your needs. Fees for services will be charged in 30 min increments and subject to approval.
Yes. We will issue a tax invoice/receipt via email when your booking is confirmed or after your service in the case of a regular service. All services arranged through a referring organisation will receive a tax invoice.

It’s up to you. Many of our regular customers choose to provide us with a house key but if you prefer to be there, that’s fine too.
Each house key is given a unique code, so as not to identify the name or address of the customer to which it belongs. All of our staff members are familiar with our key management policy which describes our procedures for the safe handling and storage of house keys.
We do not place customers on contract but do ask for 7 days notice.
